St. Josephs School Jnana Jyothi celebrated Christmas in the department common room on 22nd December 2023. All the teachers and students were present in large numbers to celebrate the Christmas. A specially ordered Christmas cake sweetened the already festive atmosphere. There was great joy among the students and their teachers when the students performed dance and the dance of Santa Claus.<br>

Fr. Ivan Mendonca SJ, the head of the institutions explained the spiritual meaning of Christmas to the students and pointed out the relevance of the teachings of Jesus Christ, in which Love, Joy, Forgiveness and Peace are core values to be practiced for world peace and harmony. Fr. Antony Pais SJ, the director of the school asked the students to live the values of Christmas. The purpose of Christ’s birth was essentially to re-humanize dehumanized human beings. The sudden arrival of Santa Claus added more fun. The memory of that celebration still lingers in our minds as a very memorable joyous event
