EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO BREAD FACTORY

February 13, 2026

On 13th February 2026, the students of St. Joseph’s School, Jnana Jyothi from Grade 3 to Grade 5 visited Annapoorna Bakers near Vanakanahalli village as part of their experiential learning program. The purpose of the visit was to help the children understand how bread is made and to learn the importance of hygiene and cleanliness in food production.

During the visit, the students carefully observed each stage of the bread-making process - mixing, kneading, fermentation, baking, cooling, and packaging — all carried out using modern machines. The bakery staff patiently explained every step in simple language and encouraged the students to ask questions, making the experience both interactive and enjoyable.

The visit was highly informative and engaging. It allowed the children to connect their classroom lessons with real-life experiences. More importantly, they learned valuable lessons about hygiene, teamwork, discipline, and the hard work involved in bringing food safely to our tables. Such meaningful exposure helps in shaping responsible, aware, and appreciative young learners.
