As part of experiential learning, the grade 5 students of St.Joseoh's School, Jnana Jyothi visited the Anekal Civil Court to gain firsthand knowledge of the judicial system and its functioning and proceeding .
During the visit, students were introduced to the court premises and were explained the roles of the judge, lawyers, court staff, and police personnel. They observed court proceedings in silence and discipline, which helped them to understand how cases are presented and verdicts were given .One of the lawyer Chandrasekar K shared the importance of law, justice, rights, and duties of citizens was clearly explained to the students.
The court officials guided the students and answered their questions and queries ,making the visit informative and engaging. Students learned the value of truth, fairness, discipline, and respect for laws and order . The visit also helped them to connect their textbook knowledge with real-life applications.
Overall, the visit to the Anekal Civil Court was educational and enlightening. It created awareness among students about the legal system and encouraged them to become responsible and law-abiding citizens.
