On 20/01/2026 (Tuesday), the students of Grade 1 and Grade 2 of St. Joseph’s School, Jnana Jyothi, visited Lal Bagh Botanical Garden as part of an educational trip. The visit was organized to help students learn about nature, flowers, and the life of the renowned Kannada poet Poornachandra Tejasvi.

The educational trip was planned under the guidance of our Principal, Rev. Fr. Santhosh, and was well coordinated by the School Coordinator Ms. Vidya. The students were accompanied and guided throughout the visit by their class teachers, who ensured the safety, discipline, and learning of all the children.

At Lal Bagh, the students enjoyed the beautiful flower show, where they observed a wide variety of colorful flowers arranged in creative designs. The children learned the names of different flowers and understood their importance in nature. The attractive displays created great excitement among the students.

The students were also taken to the annual flower exhibition which was displayed highlighting the life and contributions of Poet Poornachandra Tejasvi. Through pictures and simple explanations, the teachers helped the students understand his love for nature and the Kannada language and Literature. This inspired the children to focus on reading, creativity, and environmental care.

The Lal Baghik visit helped the student develop a love for nature, flowers and great personality likepoet Poornachandra Tejasvi. After the educational trip students returned to school.
