On 09/01/2026 (Friday), the students of Class 1 of St. Joseph’s School, Jnana Jyothi, visited the Anekal Post Office as part of an educational visit. The visit was both informative and enjoyable for the students.

The students were warmly welcomed by the post office staff. Mrs. Ranjitha explained the functions and importance of the post office in a simple and child-friendly manner. The children were shown different sections of the post office, including the counter area, record and sorting sections, where letters and parcels are processed and delivered. Mr. Subramani the Sub Post Master was introduced to the students.

Mrs. Ranjitha also introduced the students to various postal services such as sending letters, parcels, speed post, and money orders. The students were shown stamps, envelopes, and postal uniforms, which made the visit more interesting and engaging.

The students thanked Mrs. Ranjitha and Mr. Subramani for their kindness and patience in answering their questions. This visit helped the children understand the role of the post office in communication and public service. The students returned to school with happy faces and valuable learning experiences.
