On 08/01/2026 (Thursday), the students of Class 2 of St. Joseph’s School, Jnana Jyothi visited the Anekal Police Station as part of an educational trip. The visit was informative and exciting for the students.
Mr. Raghavendra from the Crime Department welcomed the children and explained the duties of the police in simple, child-friendly terms. The students were shown the record room and the lock-up, where criminals are kept for 24 hours before being shifted to the Central Jail at Konappanagrahara. He also introduced the students to the Sub-Inspector, Mr. Thippeswamy.
The police officers showed the students the police uniforms and vehicles, which made the visit even more interesting. As a token of our love and gratitude, our Headmistress presented a cake to the Sub-Inspector.
The students thanked the police officers for their kindness and services. This visit helped them to understand the importance of the police in maintaining safety and order in our daily lives. The trip was enjoyable and educational, and the students returned to school with happy faces and valuable learning.
